- Tickets are sold at advance prices and can be increased when sold on the door on the night of the event.
I have chosen to collect my tickets from the box office, how do I do this?
The tickets will need to be collected by the credit/debit card holder. You will need to quote the reference number and take the credit/debit card used to make the booking as identification.
If you have booked tickets on behalf of someone else but selected box office collection then only the card holder can collect. This is part of the credit card merchant agreement and is in place to protect both See and the cardholder from potential credit card fraud. Also for reasons of security to ensure the correct person is attending. Can I have a refund or exchange on my tickets?
Unfortunately not. See has a policy of no refunds or exchanges. The only exception is if the event is cancelled or rescheduled. This is part of the purchase policy you agree to when purchasing tickets through FestivalRepublic.com
This does not affect your statutory rights. What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

It is imperative that you contact See Tickets as we do need to inform the venue.I have lost my reference number? What should I do?

What do I need to know about touts?
Beware of unauthorised ticket agencies including eBay, buying from them can be a lot of trouble - You are likely to pay over the odds for a ticket that will have never existed or might never materialise.

Info on Ticket Touting
We are totally opposed to people selling tickets at wildly inflated prices, as happens on eBay, and have consistently made our position clear to eBay. We do everything in our power to stop it; we cross check all bookings and cancel multiple bookings, we cancel bookings made by known touts on our blacklist and we constantly search internet sites for agencies who claim to have tickets. Our team manage to catch quite a few people but it's a very slow process tracking them down as, for example, all eBay sellers are anonymous.
But there are limits to what we can do, and our biggest problem is that it's not actually illegal. We've been in discussions with the Office of Fair Trading, regarding loopholes in the law that allow this to continue, and we'd encourage fans to contact them as well.
eBay themselves refuse to stop the trade because it doesn't break any of their rules, and they actually confirmed their position when interviewed on Radio 1 on 4th April 2006. We've even tried to stop them using breach of copyright laws, where people display photos of the tickets or use the event logo without permission, but eBay haven't even replied to us on this.
We've restricted the number of tickets one person can buy, but may have to go further. However, if we restrict sales to one or two per person, it would stop people buying tickets legitimately for friends. Going to the festival with a group of mates is a big part of the fun for many people, and our MD, Melvin Benn, is reluctant to restrict genuine fans in this way.
Regarding the question "If Glastonbury can stop this, why can't you?", we fully appreciate the new measures at Glastonbury because we ourselves helped to formulate them. But even still, Glastonbury tickets appeared on eBay and people buy them despite the huge risk of being refused entry. Furthermore, entry into Glastonbury takes place through four entrances, over nearly a week, allowing lots of time to do all the necessary checks, plus many people remain inside the site throughout the event so only need to be checked once.
Reading and Leeds are very different, and the same processes simply would not work, but we continue to work with our counterparts to find solutions that will. All promoters face the same problems, and not just in the music industry, but also throughout sport and theatre.
In the meantime, you should perhaps consider contacting eBay, your local MP and the Office of Fair Trading to let them know how strongly you feel about this issue.
Tickets are sold on the condition that they are not transferable. Tickets purchased from any unauthorized sources will not be valid for entry. E.g. Internet Auction sites.Which unofficial sites should I look out for?
Beware of unauthorised ticket agencies including eBay, buying from them can be a lot of trouble - You are likely to pay over the odds for a ticket that will have never existed or might never materialise.
There are many more, and new ones popping up every day. Please read the Authorised list below to be sure just who has genuine tickets. Please let us know if you see any others. If you would like confirmation that a website is real or not, you can call our Information Line on 020 7009 3001.
